Re: the use of "honorable". I made no attempt to diagnose what I meant by the word, prior to posting the entry. But since you brought it up, I have asked myself that question. I think it's a guy thing: a [not very hidden] claim to being "brave" about the pain. Plus, in my case, making fun of myself for bragging about it.
