Giving credit where due
Date: 2020-04-14 09:41 pm (UTC)You see, I'm an alumnus of Cornell University, and Martha E. Pollack, president of that august institution, recently sent out a letter updating the community on, well, coronavirus at Cornell. The first paragraph contained this:
This morning, I laughed out loud when a Cornell student posted on their
Instagram, “You have the chance to save the world by sitting at home with
a book. This chance will not come again. Don’t mess it up.”
She didn't name the student, so neither can I, but that one deserves such credit as I am able to give.
