Yet Another Refugee from Livejournal

Perhaps the central question is *how many* of us Americans have "lost conscience" (and similarly for you Brits, etc., with regard to your own political environments).

My hunch, as regards my own compatriots, is that a considerable proportion of those who voted for Trump in 2016 were being intellectually lazy ... and that because he has been in our faces so much ever since, many such people will be more awake to the reality, the next time around.

But of course, this could be just wishful thinking on my part.
